We’re Married!!!

HOW IT HAPPENED…

            

             For weeks Krystle and Philip discussed Valentines Day and how it would be so hard to be apart this year. As a consolation, Philip agreed to fly Krystle to Berlin to visit one of her friends in the city.

            

             Completely in the dark to Philip’s secret plans, Krystle went to Geneva airport to patiently await her flight to Berlin. She sat patiently at her gate, thinking of all the exciting things to do in Germany, when she felt something tickle her ear. Imagining it to be a child or someone’s coat, she ignored it as long as she could. Until the incessant tickling could be withstood no longer; she turned her head only to find Philip standing expectantly behind her. They flew together to Berlin for a wonderful weekend full of the International Film Festival, the opera and all the sights Berlin had to offer. It was a magical time.

             After returning to Switzerland they spent the next several days, traveling around Lake Geneva, skiing the Swiss Alps and enjoying fine French cuisine.

 

             On Valentines Day, Philip took Krystle to a quaint little Sicilian restaurant called “La Tratoria” in Geneva. After enjoying a romantic Valentines dinner, Philip got down on both knees and asked Krystle to marry him.

 

After a few months of being engaged internationally, circumstances surrounding Krystle being in Switzerland, began to change. And with those changes, Philip and Krystle began to explore the possibility of moving the expected December wedding date up, significantly. When all the details began to “magically” fall in place, the two decided it was just meant to be.

 

The wedding was on 31st of March, 2006 at the Palms Resort in Miami, Florida.
